This item is a vintage beauty featuring a crystal Opal with pretty blue and green flashes set on an 18ct yellow gold bar brooch. Opal is the birthstone of October and comes in two forms, precious and common.

 

ITEM SPECIFICS

Cast yellow gold opal bar brooch with safety chain and pin. The brooch is 36 mm in length with a bezel set mount in the centre of the bar with a 13 mm x 4.5 mm high dome cabochon of type 1 crystal opal. The opal shows strong blue/green colours from all angles.
